RTT107-SLX4-SLX1 complex Overview

GO Annotations consist of four mandatory components: a gene product, a term from one of the three Gene Ontology (GO) controlled vocabularies (Molecular Function, Biological Process, and Cellular Component), a reference, and an evidence code.

Summary
Required for checkpoint dampening by reducing RAD53 checkpoint activation. Complex formation enables MEC1 (P38111) and CDK-mediated phosphorylation of SLX4 and RTT107 under replication stress and DNA damage situations. Upon phosphorylation of SLX4 on Ser-486, the complex becomes associated with DPB11 (P47027) and diminishes DPB11 interaction with RAD9, thus reducing RAD53 (P22216) phosphorylation and activation.
GO Slim Terms

The yeast GO Slim terms are higher level terms that best represent the major S. cerevisiae biological processes, functions, and cellular components. The GO Slim terms listed here are the broader parent terms for the specific terms to which this gene product is annotated, and thus represent the more general processes, functions, and components in which it is involved.
